Hydrogen Technology, Inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo, President & CEO: Yasuhiro Yamamoto, hereinafter referred to as “our company”) was invited to the “Taiwan Hydrogen Energy Industrial Development Strategy Forum” held at the Center for Public and Business Administration, National Chengchi University, Taipei, Taiwan on January 13, 2025. At this prestigious event, we proudly announced our groundbreaking hydrogen power generation technology that utilizes minerals and water, a unique innovation that sets us apart in the energy sector.

The Mt. Dadu Industrial Innovation Foundation and H2 Energy Co., Ltd. organized the forum. It provided a platform for experts from Taiwan and overseas to discuss the strategic role of hydrogen energy in Taiwan and its feasibility.

Lin Chia-lung, Taiwan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, emphasized the importance of hydrogen energy from the perspectives of resilience and security, given the country’s high dependence on energy imports, and expressed his hopes for cooperation with Japan while highlighting the importance of distributed hydrogen power generation.

We shared technical information, including modular systems that produce hydrogen locally and eliminate the need for transportation and plant construction costs, and held discussions with Taiwanese experts and business people.

Our commitment to deepening our ties with the Taiwanese government and businesses is unwavering as we strive towards realizing a sustainable energy society.
